MISSION

IDENTIFICATION

The Sarasota United Soccer League (SUSL) is a duly incorporated, not-for-profit association in the State of Florida. It is incorporated for the purpose of establishing and implementing a community wide program of youth soccer by development of affiliate or associate members in adherence to the philosophy, programs and guidelines of SUSL, the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA), the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), and the United States Youth Soccer Federation (USYSF).

MISSION & PURPOSE

It is the mission of SUSL to provide a nonprofit, public educational and training program to foster and advance the sport of youth soccer in the community of Sarasota. It is further the purpose of SUSL to provide the administrative and programmatic oversight of youth soccer activities for its affiliated or associated members within the community of Sarasota.

AFFILIATION

SUSL shall be an affiliate of and comply with the authority of the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) through the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA).

ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION

SUSL shall be governed by its Constitution, By-Laws, Rules and Guidelines, except where these are superseded by the governing authority of USYSA and FYSA with which SUSL is affiliated. SUSL shall operate pursuant to the laws of the State of Florida and the United States of America.
